Chardonnay Sonoma Coast 2011 - $11

The Sonoma Coast growing region begins at the Mendocino County border, continues along the western coastal edge of Sonoma County through the mouth of the Russian River Valley, and extends to the Los Carneros region on the southern Sonoma/Napa border. Similar to the Burgundy region of France, these vineyards offer an unusually long, cool and even growing season, where Chardonnay is beautifully aromatic, citrus-laced and layered.

Chardonnay Russian River Valley - $30

This wine is a true regional blend sourced from vineyards throughout the Russian River Valley. Given the overall cool conditions of this vintage, 2011 was the year for the relatively warmer vineyards near Chalk Hill to shine. They provided the rich, lush elements of baked pear and yellow apple which were balanced by the bright citrus and juicy acidity of the Santa Rosa bench vineyards. A variety of clones including Rued, 4 and Dijon added further complexity to the blend. Aromas of Bosc pear and ripe nectarine lead to a palate filled with zesty Meyer lemon, shortbread and creme brulee.

Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast 2012 - $25

Extending from the Mendocino County border south along the western coastal edge of Sonoma County and east to Los Carneros, vineyards of the Sonoma Coast enjoy an unusually long, cool and steady growing season. And the 2012 vintage was exceptional from start to finish. fruit ripened slowly and evenly, developing beautiful concentration and lush character. We selected vineyards from cooler sites throughout the Sonoma Coast region to create a lush, layered blend. This release offers up vibrant red cherry, spice and coffee aromas that lead to a generous palage rich with brambly fruit flavors on a supple mouthfeel that lingers well into the back palate.

Pinot Noir Russian River Valley - $40

Pinot Noir only reveals its full brilliance in only a few small cool-climate pockets of the world. Russian River Valley happens to be one of them. With the cooling coastal fog that rolls over our estate vineyards each day, Pinot ripens at a leisurely pace. Concentrated, small berries literally burst with flavor, wrapped up in rich spice and plush, round texture.
