The 2012 growing season in Monterey has been described by many growers and winemakers as ideal. Grapes were able to ripen slowly and develop significant concentration and lush fruit character than can only come from extended hang time on the vine. The result is wine with naturally juicy acidity, complexity and eclectic character. This first release offers a free-spirited Pinot Noir profile: rich aromas of dark spice, earthy notes, coffee bean and blackberry, layered with flavors of dark plum, wet stone and cedar.
