Chardonnay Monterey 2011 - $20

Just over half of the fruit for this release was grown in the vineyards of Arroyo Seco, with the remainder coming from vineyards found throughout the cool and windy Monterey appellation. A variety of clones - Clone 4, Dijon and Rued – were chosen to emphasize Monterey Chardonnay’s natural complexity and intense aromatic profile and texture.

The La Crema Nine Barrel wines are the ultimate expression of the fog-laden vineyards of Russian River Valley. Here, Chardonnay develops remarkable concentration, complexity and balance during the long, mild growing season. With each vintage, our winemaking team carefully tastes through our Chardonnay lots, selecting nine truly exceptional barrels that best express the character of the vineyards and the vintage year. The result is a Russian River Valley blend without equal.

Pinot Noir Shell Ridge Vineyards 2012 - $50

This steeply sloped mountainside vineyard sits just one ridge in from the Pacific Ocean, so close that there are ancient sea shells in the soil. Alluring hints of boysenberry and rose petal, brooding black cherry, dark chocolate and espresso bean with mouth-watering jamminess and a structured finish.

Pinot Noir Fog Veil 2011 - $50

The cool, foggy days in the Russian River Valley offer the ideal climate for Pinot Noir to reveal its brilliance. Coastal fog rolls over the vineyards each day and the fruit ripens at a leisurely pace in the moderate climate. Concentrated, small berries literally burst with flavor, wrapped up in heady spice and plush, round texture.

Pinot Noir Nine Barrel 2011 - $90

The La Crema Nine Barrel wines are the ultimate expression of the fog-laden vineyards of Russian River Valley. Fragile, temperamental and beautifully expressive, Pinot Noir must be handled delicately from vine to bottle to capture everything this gorgeous varietal has to offer, and this release is an excellent example of the vintage for Russian River Valley Pinot Noir. With each vintage, our winemaking team carefully tastes through our Pinot Noir lots, selecting nine truly exceptional barrels that best express the character of the vineyards and the vintage year.
